Hey! We're Ashley & R.D., owners and filmmakers at Pioneer Productions! In 2015 we planned our own "tiny" wedding, and had one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives when we got married on a snowy Sunday afternoon in February with just our immediate family members present. After filming weddings of all sizes for many years, we still have a soft spot for elopements and intimate ceremonies.
The heartbeat of our wedding films is capturing unstaged moments and emotions between couples. Styles of filming that we incorporate into our work could be described as storytelling, cinematic, and documentary. We love creating wedding films that couples can share as a keepsake with their friends and family- both now and for future generations to come. (We often talk about how we would pay anything to see a video from our grandparents' weddings!) We feel so honored to document some of the most beautiful love stories and the ceremonies that reflect that love.
