Autumn Waterfall Elopement Session in Sweden – At a time when more and more couples are choosing to elope or opt for a smaller, more intimate wedding…
There has never been more demand for ideas and inspiration to help couples fulfill their wedding day hopes and dreams…

So we are very excited to share Ramona and Jan’s day in Fulufjället National Park in Sweden.
It’s the season when the park is bursting with Autumn (Fall) colours which, as you’ll see, makes this day even more magical!

Autumn is a wonderful time of year to elope, it not only rewards you with the changing colours of the trees and warm, earthy tones from the plants and falling leaves… (Oh that rhymed!)
But other benefits like popular nature spots being less crowded than the Summer months can be a real plus!

Interestingly, Fulufjället National Park is actually home to the oldest pine tree in the world – pretty cool huh?! The tree is called Old Tjikko.

During Ramona and Jan’s session they explored the park and it’s enchanting mist before heading to a large waterfall in the park called Njupeskär.
The waterfall is 93m high and drops from the mountains above creating a thundering sound as it hits the bottom – the perfect atmosphere for such a momentous occasion.
