We are so excited to share Laura and Aaron’s beautiful elopement session in the Lake District. This free spirited couple spent the night in their self built cabin-on-wheels at the side of the road in preparation for their intimate ceremony in the mountains.
Laura and Aaron travel around Europe in their van, it is their home. They’ve put so much work into converting and decorating it inside and out with all the things they love. And we absolutely love it too!
The van’s wooden interior looks incredible and when you enter, you are filled with so much warmth from all the beautiful hanging plants and foliage inside.
On the day of their elopement, Aaron and Laura spent a cosy morning getting ready in their mobile home…
Laura put on a stunning bohemian style dress by Rue de Seine which was beautifully complemented by a gorgeous dried flower bouquet and flower crown by Folkey Dokey.
Before leaving for their ceremony in the mountains, they hopped up onto the roof to play some music on Aaron’s guitar.
What a lovely moment! Laura played alongside him with a tambourine by MamaIncStudio.
Laura’s crown and bouquet colours were a mix of neutral creams and fawns against strong rustic reds and burnt oranges. Perfectly matching their stylish van interior !
Celebrant Charlotte performed their handfasting ceremony with creative vow books by MamaIncStudio.
Makeup Artist Kerry Baker did a wonderful job of enhancing Laura’s natural beauty and her look was finished off by jewellery pieces from Beach Comber Jewellery.
