A Love Above Photographer Kevin was enjoying a two month trip in Tuscany when he met couple Emanuela & Pier by chance on Instagram.
At the time, Emanuela & Pier were studying in the Tuscan Capital, Florence. However, they were looking to travel south for a photo session together near Siena – where they grew up.
Siena is a little medieval town known to many as the heart of Tuscany. The town is rich in history, art and culture and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the mid 90s. It is a great town to stay in if you are looking to explore Italy’s wine region.
For this occasion, Emanuela & Pier visualised being surrounded by the beauty of the Tuscan countryside…and having grown up in Siena, they knew exactly where to go!
First, they ventured into a field of sunflowers and had some fun playing around together and just being themselves. Emanuela wore a pretty dress which matched the colours of the sunflowers perfectly, making the photos even more captivating.
Next they drove to spot ‘A Love Above’ photographer, Kevin, had found whilst scouting for scenic locations. Of course, another thing that Tuscany is famous for is the many hills and winding roads!
This particular spot had a great view too, a place where they could watch the sun setting on the horizon behind the hills. So photographer Kevin knew this would be a perfect setting for the second part of their photo session. And he was absolutely right!
